Floribras

Floribras Garden Plants, was started 30 years ago by André Braspenning, under the name "Boomkwekerij André Braspenning". He began with growing scrubs and conifers in the open field. By 1978 there was started with growing potted plants, mainly for landscaping projects.

In 1982 the first greenhouse was build, and the production started to extend rapidly. During the 90`s period, the production was grown on 2.5 ha of greenhouses, 11 ha container fields en 6.5 ha conifers en scrubs in the open field. André Braspenning was known for his Rhododendron and Skimmia, customers started to ask for bigger quantities so the production was getting focussed on a more specific range of customers. Also the quality standards became more important, which resulted in further specializing in a smaller group of products.

In the period of 2000 to 2010 the company became to what it is today. In 2007 the name "Boomkwekerij André Braspenning" changed in "Floribras Garden Plants BV". Product groups were selected for specialisation, to ensure good quality, and being able to satisfy the needs of customers.

Today, Floribras Garden Plants BV grows it`s products on 12 ha container fields, en 3 ha of greenhouses. The production process takes place with modern techniques from the production unit located in the centre of the nursery.

Floribras pays attention to their contact with customers, the plants find their ways throughout Europe. We also look for ways to sell plants internationally by cooperation with international operating companies, trade fair activities, and optimization of methods to promote the products online, to be of service for customers.
